During my recent stay at Hotel Royal, I was genuinely impressed by its serene location just a short walk from the enchanting lakeside of Menaggio. The classic-style room provided a picturesque view, with a lovely balcony where I enjoyed my morning espresso, while the sweet and savory breakfast got my day off to the perfect start. I was particularly drawn to the delightful atmosphere created by the friendly staff; their welcoming nature is reminiscent of a true Italian family vibe, which made our evenings spent at the hotel restaurant, Chez Mario, simply unforgettable. The outdoor pool was a refreshing post-touring retreat, and having drinks served poolside was a sweet touch-perfect for anyone who loves lounging under the sun like me! Plus, I appreciated the ease of connectivity with a nearby bus stop that effortlessly took us into the town center. All in all, Hotel Royal exceeded my expectations, and I would happily recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a cozy yet luxurious experience nestled in the heart of Italy's breathtaking beauty.
